Why in your tutorial did you decide to use the pole vector to control the orientation of the elbow as opposed to using the twist modifier already built into the IK handle in the first place? Is there an advantage/disadvantage to using one over the other?

Hey Scott,
I personally like to set the legs up with pole vectors because while I'm already working close to the other controls to adjust a rig's pose, I find it easier to stay right there and use that control to adjust the knee/elbow position as opposed to going to the channel box to adjust an attribute value. I suppose it's just a personal preference as well as a rig feature I've grown accustomed to through my few years of rigging and animating. ![]()
