Justin holds a BFA in Digital Art and Animation from the College for Creative Studies, and has a generalist skill set that ranges from artistic modeling and asset creation, to motion capture and keyframe animation, to technical rigging and character setup.</p>

<p>A huge thanks for everyone that participated, and of course to <a href="http://quixel.se/" target="_blank">Quixel</a> and <a href="http://quixel.se/" target="_blank">NDo2</a> for sponsoring with awesome prizes! In only 7 days we saw over 620 posts (!!!) and nearly 40 final entries. Not bad for our first quick contest! Now that submissions are officially closed judging will begin with <em><strong>winners announced Monday, May 21st.</strong></em></p>

From a bouncing ball with basics like squash and stretch to applying these core principles to a fully rigged animated character, this series will be a great starting point for new animators as well as a foundational course to dramatically improve and bring to life your animation work. The series will feature 3 fully rigged characters, as part of the source files, that you&#8217;ll be able to use to follow along with instructor <a title="http://www.jharrisonart.com/" href="http://www.jharrisonart.com/" target="_blank">Justin Harrison</a>. Volumes 2 and 3 will expand the series with additional principles and practical examples.</p>
