Will my product download link expire?
Yes. You will have 3 days from the date of purchase to download your product. If you're unable to download your product during that time, send us an email at support@3dmotive.com and we'll get you taken care of.
Do you offer physical DVDs?
Not yet! We're working on it though. If there is a particular video you'd like to see on DVD first, please let us know.
Can I get a bulk order discount? How about an educational discount?
Yes and Yes! You'll need to contact us at support@3dmotive.com and we'll get you squared away. For qualified student and faculty members, we offer a 20% education discount.
What's included with my purchase?
All downloads include video files (see below), project files, and a readme on how to get most out of your purchase. Depending on the product, project files could be textures, model, UDK packages, etc.
What software will I need to watch my video?
All of our content is recorded in HD and delivered as a .MP4 (H.264) video file which can be played with Quicktime, Windows Media Player, VLC Player or similar.
Do your videos contain any DRM or anti-piracy software?
We're proud to say all of our content is 100% DRM free. We don't think you should have to jump through any hoops when using your product.

In this video we'll take an advanced look at UDK's mesh painting features (often called vertex painting). We'll go in depth on how to create several advanced blending materials such as snow icing over stones, puddles that react to light, and cracked and weathered concrete. We will also discuss how to create mix maps in Photoshop which will allow us to blend our materials in unique and interesting ways.
